Alicia Liu is the founder and CEO of Singing Grass, a consultancy specialising in market access and strategy for China, with a focus on publishing and the arts. Raised between China, London and New York, Alicia brings a global perspective to her work. She has advised major publishing houses and international book fairs, including Penguin Random House Children’s, Hachette Children’s Group, BBC Studios, the London Book Fair and the Beijing International Book Fair. Alicia comes from a family with deep intellectual and literary roots — her grandfather was a pioneering translator who introduced Chinese readers to the works of Dickens, Freud and Tolstoy in the 1930s.
