Anna Vassiliadi was born in Piraeus. She studied Economics at the University of Piraeus and has completed educational and postgraduate programs at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the University of Ioannina, and the University of the Aegean in Criminology, personality disorders, refugee issues, and Middle East geopolitics. She has worked in the shipping, legal, educational, and technology sectors. Besides her native language, she also speaks English, French, and Italian, and continues learning for the love of knowledge. She has written texts for theater and ballet performances, contributed columns to print and online magazines and newspapers, and has participated as a speaker in conferences and book festivals. She has taken part in collective works and has also edited publications. She has been a member of the Women’s Literary Society since 2007, where she served as Secretary of the Board from 2014 and as President since 2019, currently serving her second term.
She is a published author, awarded literature translator and in charge of International Rights for Kitrino Patini (Yellow Scooter) Publications.
