I am an independent publisher, founder and owner of Courgette Editions, and writer based in Belgium, with several years of experience in developing and coordinating editorial projects focused on social issues. My editorial work is rooted in a strong commitment to amplifying marginalised voices, with particular attention to women’s voices, feminist perspectives, and contemporary societal questions. I work closely with authors throughout the editorial process, from manuscript development to publication, placing care, dialogue, and ethical collaboration at the centre of my practice.
In parallel, I am the co-founder of L-Slam, a non-profit organisation that has been supporting women artists for over ten years, helping them access the stage and move towards professionalisation. Through L-Slam, I design and lead writing workshops and provide stage coaching, supporting participants in strengthening their voices, self-confidence, and artistic autonomy. This long-term grassroots experience deeply informs my editorial approach and my understanding of how artistic creation, empowerment, and social change intersect.
I have developed solid expertise in independent publishing, including editorial planning, rights management, production follow-up, and distribution within the Francophone market. I regularly participate in international professional events, including the Frankfurt Book Fair, to build long-term partnerships and explore rights and co-edition opportunities.
I have coordinated several co-editions with partners in Belgium, France, and Benin, involving collective editorial processes and coordinated diffusion and distribution across the Francophone world. Environmental values are also central to my publishing practice, influencing both editorial choices and production strategies.
