Consultant and trainer specialising in the impact of technology on reading practices and reading mediation, as well as on related fields (cultural, educational, etc.), and in the application of cutting-edge technologies in cultural and educational environments. My work is grounded in the analysis and evaluation of print and digital reading materials, which has led to collaborations in various studies and research projects, contributions to different publications, and participation in courses, forums, seminars, and conferences at both national and international levels.

I am Academic Director of the online Master’s Degree in Digital Culture and the online Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science in the Digital Age at the European Miguel de Cervantes University, and I teach on the online Master’s Degree in Reading Promotion and Children’s Literature at the Centre for the Study and Promotion of Reading and Children’s Literature (CEPLI) of the University of Castilla–La Mancha.

I am also a member of the Dosdoce.com team and of the LASAL Association, which organises the Salamanca Children’s and Young Adult Book Fair and annual professional conferences dedicated to the children’s and young adult literature sector. In addition, I was the driving force behind “Mejor en verde…”, the first quality label for Spanish children’s and young adult literature, and “AppTK.es”, the first Spanish recommendation platform for reading apps and book apps for children and young people.
