I am a Mexican comic book editor. Even though I have been working on comic books for the last 14 years, I am still learning every day about my craft. What I enjoy most about editing, is working with the authors to help them achieve their creative goals. I always work on reasuring them and at the same time taking them always a step further. I love the smell of a recently open book and look foward to keep on with my work for the rest of my life.

My publushing house is Corteza Editorial. We are as independent as it gets on an industry that is very used to superheroe blockbusters (nothing wrong with that I am a huge X-Men fan). On my journey I have found that the true power of the stories rely on the honesty with which the author creates and the beauty of our work is making a fisical space for all those beautiful ideas. A great book is the one that takes your breath away even before it is in your hands.
